Couples

Couples therapy offers a valuable opportunity to strengthen your relationship and find meaningful solutions to challenges you may be facing. If you’re feeling stuck in repetitive patterns or disconnected from each other, I’m here to provide practical support and guidance. Together, we can address communication barriers, rebuild trust, and create a more fulfilling partnership. Whether you’re navigating conflicts, seeking to deepen your connection, or simply looking for ways to enhance your relationship taking the step towards therapy can lead to positive changes.

I also provide support for couples looking to separate amicably. Financial considerations, co-parenting arrangements, and housing situations can all add complexity to this process. Whether you’re navigating the decision to separate or already in the midst of it, my goal is to help you resolve these issues over time, calmly and respectfully.

I welcome couples of all backgrounds and ages, offering a safe and non-judgmental space for you to explore your concerns.  I’m committed to understanding your unique needs and tailoring our sessions accordingly.  I’m here to support you both on your journey towards a healthier relationship.

Specialist Area

Neurodiversity

If you or your partner are neurodiverse, such as having ADHD or Autism, or suspect you might be, I specialize in working with couples like you. I’m here to provide support in understanding and navigating your relationship dynamics. My approach focuses on embracing the strengths and challenges that neurodiversity brings. I look forward to working with you both to foster understanding and connection in your relationship.

Awareness & Training

Narcissist aware

Being in a relationship with someone exhibiting narcissistic traits can lead to emotionally damaging experiences.  Clinical diagnosis of Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD) is rare, as individuals with this condition typically do not seek therapy on their own. However, if you suspect you’re in a relationship with a narcissist, it’s important to know that I have personal experience and training in assisting individuals to navigate and heal from these toxic dynamics.

Specialist Training

Solution Focused

Solution-focused therapy works particularly well for couples because it emphasises identifying and building upon existing strengths and resources within the relationship.  Rather than dwelling on past issues or assigning blame, this approach encourages couples to focus on achievable goals and practical solutions for their current concerns. This positive and future-oriented approach can help couples break free from negative patterns, enhance their problem-solving skills, and create meaningful changes in their relationship dynamic.
