Effective therapy for adults
Individual Therapy
It can be difficult to know where to turn when you feel stuck, overwhelmed or caught in patterns that no longer seem to be helping. Therapy offers a confidential space to understand what is happening and begin finding a way forward.
You may be experiencing anxiety, low mood, stress, difficult relationships, the effects of past experiences, neurodivergence, chronic illness or simply a sense that life is not feeling as it should. You do not need to have a diagnosis or know exactly what is wrong before getting in touch.
Together, we can make sense of what you are experiencing, identify what may be keeping the difficulty going and find practical, realistic ways to help you feel more in control of your life.
Is therapy right for me?
People come to therapy for many different reasons. Sometimes there is a clear difficulty they want help with. At other times, they may simply know that something needs to change.
You do not need to prepare the right words, have everything worked out or commit to a long course of therapy. An initial session gives us an opportunity to talk about what has brought you here, what you would like to be different and whether working together feels right for you.
